Whole Tokyo is currently raving about the new trick frame NJS frame builder STRATOS is putting out:

I was able to test ride the prototype over the last weekend. The 50cm seat tube was a bit small for me (made more for the average Japanese, I guess), but it handles very well and is quite light for such a sturdy build. Put the saddle up and slap some smaller tires on and it can easily be used for cruising. Let’s see if there is one in my size when it rolls into production.

These are my buddies I normally hang with in my neighborhood and they just released a 13min. long video with short profiles of ten of the riders, all in glorious HD. If you’re ever in Tokyo, come ride with us. There’s some of us on the west side parking lot of Yoyogi Park almost every night.

A bit late to report, as I was under the blanket with a cold, but last weekend Tokyo had another bike gathering out in Odaiba with bike polo, bunny hop contest, fixed gear trick session and what not.
